Amal
Amal, a passionate French teacher at a Brussels high school, is determined to inspire her students. She wants them to delve into literature, dare to speak up, and learn to accept one another. But her approach isn't universally appreciated. Some students and colleagues with ties to Islamic extremism see her as a threat and fiercely oppose her ideas. Yet, Amal refuses to be intimidated, especially when she has to support the timid Monia, a student suspected of homosexuality. Monia is threatened, harassed, and attacked.
